Profile

Before returning to further her education in Physician Assistant studies, Lydia was a critical care nurse for seven years. She worked in cardiovascular, neurosurgical, and generalized ICUs. Lydia loved her time as a nurse, particularly helping people through some of the hardest or most frightening times of their lives.

Lydia decided to become a physician assistant because she loves surgery and all of its intricacies. She was fortunate to gain experience in trauma, cardiothoracic, and general surgery during clinical rotations is excited to be a part of the Porter Heart & Vascular Center team!

Interests & Activities

Lydia loves spending time in the outdoors, hiking, and downhill skiing. She also enjoys bouldering and yoga, and is an avid reader and baker.
