Profile

Dr. Buffington comes to TVC from Helena, Montana, where he served as Medical Director for the Montana Health Center between 2013 and 2018.  Prior to that, Dr. Buffington spent five years as the Medical Director and Chief of Staff at St. Joseph Medical Center in Poslon, MT.  An active volunteer, Dr. Buffington spent a month working in a busy public clinic in the small town of Heredia in Costa Rica.  He also volunteered as the team physician for area high schools in Montana and Wisconsin.    

Interests & Activities

Dr. Buffington's medical interests include sports medicine, outpatient medicine and procedures. Away from his practice, Dr. Buffington enjoys hiking, fishing and hunting.  An active community member, Dr. Buffington currently volunteers with Boy Scouts of America.

Medical Education

Dr. Buffington earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2004
