McCulley, Daniel, MD
Daniel J. McCulley
Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine
Tanana Valley Clinic and Denali Center
Dr. McCulley joins the Internal Medicine team from his Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. The fellowship focused on training in the memory clinic, geriatric psychology, and diagnosis and management of dementia and other cognitive disorders.
With many of his family members in medical professions, McCulley knew for as long as he can remember that he was interested in medicine. A few years after high school, McCulley joined the Alaska National Guard and served at Eielson Air Force Base as a medic.
Dr. McCulley is no stranger to the military or Fairbanks. Growing up, McCulley’s father was stationed at Eielson Air Force Base twice, after which he retired and the family stayed in Fairbanks. Dr. McCulley considers Fairbanks his home and is excited to rejoin the community and practice medicine here.
