Born and raised in Fairbanks and am to call Alaska home, Kate Carey, DO, was excited and honored to return to TVC and provide medical care for our community. As an Osteopathic physician, her goal is to promote all aspects of health in her patients: mind, body and spirit. As a DO, Dr. Carey recognizes the ability of the body to self heal and aims to augment this capacity to maximize health and healing.
Dually trained in both Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, Dr. Carey holds a special interest in breastfeeding support and Osteopathic treatment in the newborn period to maximize and improve breastfeeding, as well as treatment of back and pelvic pain during pregnancy.
Interests & Activities
In my spare time, I like to play soccer, cross-country ski, hike, go for a run, and spending time with my family.
