Dorlyne Brchan, MD accomplished her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Iowa, Roy J and Lucille A Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, IA. She pursued Pediatric Neurology at the University of Iowa, Carver College of Medicine. Dr. Brchan completed her Residency at the University of Colorado, Pediatric Neurology Residency Program, and has been thoroughly involved at Children’s Hospital Colorado as the Educational Chief arranging lectures for residents, and assisting with the Quality Improvement Project for medication reconciliation process. She also served as the Residency Activity Coordinator at the University of Colorado and was a Kid’s Ministry Volunteer at a community church. She was also actively involved in infantile spasm task force and helped with establishment of clinical care guidelines for the hospital.
The addition of Dr. Brchan establishes a Pediatric Neurology practice within our Pediatric Department at Tanana Valley Clinic. Dr. Brchan relocated to Fairbanks, Alaska from Colorado with her husband, a Captain in the US Army. Her professional interests are in headache, seizure management, and neurocutaneous disorders such as tuberous sclerosis.
Dr. Brchan will be practicing Pediatric Neurology with TVC for the next two years.
Interests & Activities
Dr. Brchan enjoys baking, cooking, hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with family. She also loves dogs and playing board games.
