On June 14, 2017 Foundation Health Partners was accepted as a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, a network of like-minded organizations committed to serving their patients and enhancing the delivery of care through collaboration. Now Tanana Valley Clinic providers may join that collaboration.
Foundation Health Partners is the first Mayo Clinic Care Network member in Alaska. The formal agreement promotes a close clinical relationship that is focused on sharing knowledge and expertise so that more patients can stay close to home for care, avoiding unnecessary travel and gaining additional peace of mind.
TVC staff may access to Mayo Clinic’s extensive library of patient education materials, professional development events and programs, and archived grand rounds of presentations by Mayo Clinic physicians and scientists.
Foundation Health Partners remains independent, but shares Mayo Clinic’s commitment to improve the quality and delivery of health care. Launched in 2011, the Mayo Clinic Care Network has more than 40 members across the United States, and in Mexico, Philippines, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.
