I was born and raised right here in Fairbanks, Alaska and earned my Bachelor's degree in physics at UAF. I served in the United States Air Force and the Alaska Air National Guard from 1997 to 2003. My professional interests include obstetric anesthesia and regional anesthetic techniques.

When I am away from the hospital, I enjoy aviation and outdoor sports.
