What we do

Respiratory Care at FHP is responsible for making sure patients can breathe comfortably, using breathing treatments, hi-flow oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilators when necessary. Our Respiratory Therapists are educated, trained and licensed professionals, working therapeutically with patients of all ages and acuity levels. Our RTs work within outpatient services, like pulmonary function testing, EKGs, stress tests, and bronchoscopies, etc. and inpatient areas, like ICU, med surgical floors, ED, and NICU.  Our RTs are on the code blue and rapid response teams.
