Support TVC's Reach Out & Read program at Barnes & Noble. In an effort to raise funds and awareness for our Reach Out & Read program, TVC is working together with Barnes & Noble by hosting a Bookfair at the Barnes & Noble Fairbanks location.

On August 19, 2017 from 9am-5pm, Barnes & Noble will contribute a percentage of every sale made with a special Bookfair voucher to TVC's Reach Out & Read program. Use Bookfair ID 12187381 or collect a hard copy at Tanana Valley Clinic. Between August 19 - August 24, 2017, present the voucher or ID number at time of purchase in store, in the Starbucks Cafe at B&N, and also online at www.bn.com/bookfairs by including the Bookfair voucher ID on the payment page during checkout.

From August 19 - August 24, a percentage of Bookfair sales will raise money to purchase the age-appropriate books given at every Well Child visit in TVC's Pediatrics. At Tanana Valley Clinic, every child receives a FREE age-appropriate book at every Well Child visit, from infancy through 5 years.

Volunteers from TVC Pediatrics will be at the Barnes & Noble Fairbanks location on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 9am-5pm. You can collect a hard copy voucher from our table, and learn some great age-appropriate tips for reading with your child!

Reach Out & Read is a national nonprofit organization encouraging parents to read daily with their child to promote early literacy and school readiness. Reach Out & Read incorporates early literacy into pediatric practice. Reach out and Read is a program recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
