Testing

Due to the increase in prevalence and severity of COVID-19 in the community, we are experiencing a sharp rise in the number of patients seeking care.  

This increase, combined with community-wide staffing shortages, is creating significant wait times for visits. Delays may also be experienced for COVID-19 test results, which may take up to 72 hours.

When to Test

If you have any of the following symptoms, get a test. It is the best way to protect yourself and those around you. 

Symptoms:

  • have a fever between 100.4 degrees F and 102 degrees F, are feeling feverish, or feel warm to the touch
  • have a new or worsening cough
  • have a new or worsening sore throat
  • have flu-like symptoms (chills, runny or stuffy nose, headache, body aches, and/or feeling tired)
  • are having shortness of breath that is not limiting your ability to speak
  • have new loss of taste or smell
  • have new nausea or vomiting
  • have new diarrhea

If you are experiencing severe shortness of breath or a life-threatening emergency, please call 911.
