Fairbanks, Alaska Feb. 7, 2024 - Foundation Health Partners proudly announces that Fairbanks Memorial Hospital (FMH) has earned two prestigious recognitions, solidifying its leadership in healthcare excellence. Newsweek identified FMH as one of America's Best-In-State Hospitals for 2024, while U.S. News & World Report's 2023 Best Regional Hospitals list recognizes FMH as one of the number one hospitals in Alaska. 

The America's Best-In-State Hospitals 2024 ranking, developed by Newsweek, highlights FMH's commitment to excellence in patient care and acknowledges its standing among the top healthcare institutions nationwide. The evaluation process considered four comprehensive data sources, including a nationwide online survey, quality metrics data, patient experience assessments, and a PROMs implementation survey. 

Foundation Health Partners CEO Shelley Ebenal expressed gratitude for the Newsweek recognition, stating, "Being recognized as one of America's Best-In-State Hospitals is a testament to our dedicated staff, committed medical professionals, and, most importantly, the patients who entrust us with their care. In addition to the Newsweek recognition, Fairbanks Memorial Hospital achieved the top spot on the U.S. News & World Report's 2023 Best Regional Hospitals list for Alaska. Out of 27 hospitals statewide, FMH was one of two facilities meeting the high U.S. News standards.
