After nine years in the intensive care unit, Neil Hurd was inspired to advance his career by earning a Master’s in Nursing with a focus on anesthesia, drawn to the science and precision of the specialty. He finds tremendous fulfillment working in a community hospital, and after 20 years in the military, he and his wife are grateful to have found their forever home in Fairbanks, Alaska.
