Fairbanks Memorial Hospital
I first moved to Alaska in 2011 and knew I had found my people. The resourcefulness, the grit, and most of all the compassion that people here display is like no where else I have ever traveled. For me, that’s why Alaska is home. Anesthesia serves all populations, but my personal niche is pediatric and neonatal populations. To me, the experience of a child and their family is critical and I make it a personal goal to do everything possible to facilitate a safe and positive experience. I think the most important aspect of creating an exceptional anesthesia experience is seeing the patient as FAMILY, as someone that deserves your full attention and experience to support them through a potentially difficult experience. The reassurance and expertise we provide can impart an incredibly positive effect.
Interests & Activities
I enjoy spending time with my partner, reading, skijoring with my husky, running, playing piano and didgeridoo. I also keep fish tanks. Nothing relaxes like staring into a well-maintained and aquascaped aquarium!
