Profile

Ms. Jackson began working in long-term care as a new registered nurse, and discovered her love for working with the geriatric populations. She also developed an interest in hospice and end-of-life care. She likes to approach care from an interdisciplinary team perspective, while always putting patient goals first. She works with her patients to determine important values and goals that they have for her care. She is inspired each day in seeing patients meet their goals, whether that be graduating from rehab or passing peacefully.  

Interests & Activities

Ms. Jackson moved to Alaska after vacationing here and falling in love with the people and the outdoor opportunities the 49th state presents. She has always had a love for snow and cooler weather, and is enjoying learning how to ski. She also enjoys riding 4-wheelers and camping. For personal wellness, Ms. Jackson likes to listen to music to help her relax and she manages stress by staying active outdoors.
