Sriharsha Gowtham, MD is a board-certified physician practicing with the FHP Internal Medicine & Senior Care Clinic. Dr. Gowtham believes that patients are the experts of their own bodies, and views symptoms as the language the body uses to communicate. Through effective patient/provider communication, and taking time to understand the subtleties of the symptoms, Dr. Gowtham works with his patients to reach the correct diagnosis and treatment.  

Dr. Gowtham sees himself as both a healer and a teacher, but it was only when he embraced his role as a student that he truly learned how to become a better doctor. Dr. Gowtham believes a day without learning is a day wasted, and that learning from each of his patients enhances the care he is able to provide to others.

Interests & Activities

Depending on the day, you can find Dr. Gowtham enjoying a  hike, walking the family dogs, listening to (non-medical) podcasts, or simply relaxing with his family on the couch to watch a good show -"Sometimes, it's fine to be lazy."
