Brittany Stepovich is an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) with a certification as an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP). She began her nursing career with the late Dr. J. Michael Carroll and Drs. Cox from 2005 to 2019, nine of these years as a nurse practitioner. She completed a Bachelor in Nursing at Loyola University of Chicago in 2008 and, after much discussion and prompting from Dr. Carroll, followed with a Master in Nursing degree at University of California Los Angeles in 2010. At UCLA, she was able to participate in the Oncology NP track to receive specialized training within the cancer continuum.
Brittany cared for members of our community as a provider at FHP’s Denali Center for two years beginning 2019 and enjoyed the challenges of healthcare in the SNF/LTC setting, especially while in the midst of a global pandemic. She began work as the JMCCC's Cancer Care Clinical Provider in July 2021.
Brittany is fourth generation Alaskan. She and her husband were both born and raised in Fairbanks and attended Monroe High School. Brittany stays connected with the Catholic Schools of Fairbanks by serving on the CSF/Monroe Foundation Board of Directors.
