There will be a Community Vaccination event at the Carlson Center this weekend, Friday, Jan. 15 and Saturday, Jan. 16 for individuals in Phase 1A and Phase 1B, Tier 1. This includes Alaskans age 65+ and health care workers.

VACCINE ELEGIBILITY: Vaccine registration for Alaskans 65 years and older begins this Wednesday, Jan. 6. Vaccinations will begin Monday, Jan. 11. Click here to review eligibility requirements.
MODERNA VACCINES: FHP received 100 doses of the Moderna vaccine. These vaccines will be administered to FHP employees beginning Tuesday, Jan. 5.

Vaccine Registrations for Alaskans 65+, FHP vaccine resources, vaccines for FHP employees and medical staff
Vaccine Registrations for Alaskans 65+: Registration for the COVID-19 vaccine opened today for Alaskans aged 65+. The State/DHSS allotted 750 vaccines to help vaccinate the community’s seniors. Appointments for these vaccines were filled in less than two hours. FHP will be allotted additional vaccines from the State as they receive more. There are several locations in the community offering the vaccine to Interior seniors. Read more here.

FHP community vaccine clinic, vaccines for Alaskans aged 65+, COVID Bites, 2nd dose
FHP Community Vaccine Clinic: FHP will begin vaccinating Alaskans aged 65+ next Thursday, Jan. 14. Vaccinations are scheduled to be administered Jan. 14, 21, 28 and possibly Feb. 4 in the McGown, Kiewit and Chandler conference rooms. The process is similar to how the employee vaccinations are occurring. The clinic will be open 8am to 5pm and we will be vaccinating 250 people per day (32 per hour). Patients will enter through the South Tower entrance.
