Profile

Jacob Trudeau, PA-C is a physician assistant with TVC 1st Care. He realized in high school that he really enjoyed learning about the complexities of the human body, helping others and solving complicated problems. This naturally led him to consider a career in health care. Mr. Trudeau brings six years experience as a physician assistant, and is not new to Alaska. He served as a PA in both Juneau and Wasilla prior to coming to Fairbanks. He appreciates the wide depth and breadth of medical knowledge, procedures, and medications associated with practicing walk-in medical care specialty.

Mr. Trudeau tries to listen and spend as much time explaining things to patients as he reasonably can. When he first started working in the field, he was surprised by how many patients told him that they finally felt like they were listened to, or that they were finally taken seriously for their complaints.    

Interests & Activities

The adventure and beauty of the 49th state drew Mr. Trudeau to Alaska. Away from clinic, you can find him hiking, taking photographs (he is excited to experiment with the northern lights!), camping and traveling. He is interested in getting into fat-tire biking. Mr. Trudeau practices personal wellness through weightlifting and intermittent fasting.
