Christina Sparks RN, MSN, ARNP is a nurse practitioner with the Porter Heart & Vascular Center at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. She began her career as a bedside RN on the FMH Med-Surgical unit in 2009 and has worked as a critical care nurse and flight nurse. She graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2021 and worked as a critical care nurse practitioner in Washington State prior to returning to Alaska in 2025.
In her role as a nurse practitioner, Ms. Sparks is inspired by the unique opportunity to guide her patients to a healthier way of life. She believes in a holistic practice style, where the patient is not only the condition they are experiencing, but a whole person. She believes small changes in different areas of wellness can achieve great results!
Interests & Activities
Away from clinic, you will likely find Ms. Sparks surrounded by bees, as she's a bee-keeper and loves to spend time watching them. She also enjoys bicycle riding, ballroom dancing with her husband, camping and experiencing the wonders of Alaska's outdoors year-round.
