Jennifer Holt, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant practicing with the FHP Orthopedics & Spine Specialist Clinic. She has a passion for treating osteoarthritis from conservative management to assisting in surgical interventions.  Ms. Holt also enjoys managing fractures, from simple to complex. As someone who enjoys sports (both as an athlete and spectator), Ms. Holt's first career was as an athletic trainer. Her experiences with sports medicine, coupled with a desire to learn and help patients more, lead her to a career as a physician assistant in orthopedic surgery.

Ms. Holt believes there are two key components to ensuring a great patient experience: communication and empathy. She feels that it's not only important for a patient to fully understands their medical condition and treatment plan, but that they also know their provider can relate to them.   

Interests & Activities

A graduate of Lathrop High School, Ms. Holt is Fairbanks born and raised. Away from the clinic/OR you will find her spending time with her family caring for their many pets (4 dogs, 2 chinchillas, 2 Flemish giant rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, and a hedgehog). She also enjoys hiking, running, camping, riding ATVs, quilting, reading and traveling.

Ms. Holt believes in the idea that "life is motion and motion is life". She works out 4-5 days a week, for both physical and mental health.
