Here at the Allergy and Asthma Department, we have been following the course of forest fire smoke, with the assistance of air pollution detecting devices called "Purple Air". Their name references the purple zone of the air quality index chart, where “everyone may experience more serious health effects”. We are employing these devices here at the clinic, but many other individuals in our area have them up and running today as well.
