Profile
After starting his medical education in Birmingham, AL, Dr. Bonitatibus returned to his hometown of Augusta, GA to complete a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in allergy/immunology. Dr. Bonitatibus also has a degree in Electrical Engineering. Engineers solve problems. He felt that applying these skills to people’s health would be the most rewarding version of problem solving he could do. Dr. Bonitatibus provides each patient with an individualized plan at every visit. He tries to incorporate joint decision making (patient and provider working together) to address their specific needs, wants and, at times, even their fears in making that plan.Interests & Activities
Dr. Bonitatibus loves to watch sports. College football and basketball (Georgia Tech) and baseball (LA Dodgers) are his favorite. He never miss one of their games. An avid bowler, Dr. Bonitatibus has rolled a 277, but never the elusive 300 game. He loves singer/ songwriters of the 70’s and “yacht rock” music such as Little River Band. He searches out good comedy, and loves to see live sets from comedians of all styles. He has come to appreciate the creativity and artistry even when he doesn't find it funny.
