CNN%20Recruitment%20FB-1200x628.jpgThe Denali Center at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital will be hosting a Certified Nursing Assistant Fellowship and sponsoring 20 community members through the CNA program at UAF Community Technical College. The Denali Center will cover all tuition and fees for the CNA Fellowship participants in exchange for a one-year, full time commitment of employment at the Denali Center.

The UAF CNA program runs August 12 – October 5 (full day class schedule) or August 26 – November 7 (evening class schedule). Upon completion of their coursework, the CNA Fellows will be required to pass the State of Alaska CNA Licensure exam and will begin full time employment Certified Nursing Assistant at the Denali Center.

  • Ability to attend CTC full-time from either August 12 - October 5, or August 26 - November 7.
  • Ability to make a one-year full-time commitment of employment with Denali Center in exchange for Denali Center to cover tuition expenses for the CNA program
  • Ability to pass placement tests required by UAF CTC to enroll in the Nurse Aide program
  • Must be able to pass a background check compliant with the State of Alaska DHSS Barrier Crime Matrix
  • Must be able to pass a drug test

*Attendance at an information session is strongly recommended.
Applicants without proof of attendance may be screened out of applicant pool.
