How Earn-and-Learn Programs Work

Many workforce development opportunities combine paid employment with structured learning and on-the-job experience. 

Depending on the program, participants may receive:

    • Mentorship and coaching 
    • Classroom or online instruction 
    • Industry-recognized credentials 
    • Career advancement opportunities 

Workforce Development Partnerships

 Foundation Health Partners collaborates with educational institutions, the Interior Alaska Area Health Education Center (AHEC), the Alaska AHEC Program Office, the Alaska Workforce Investment Board, other workforce organizations, and community partners to help create healthcare career pathways for Alaskans. 

These partnerships support career exploration, training, employment, and advancement opportunities across the Alaskan healthcare workforce.
