Phlebotomy Fellowship
Foundation Health Partners offers a semiannual Phlebotomy Fellowship in partnership with UAF Community and Technical College. The Phlebotomy course is approximately 6 weeks long and requires 100 hours of clinical time. Employment begins after course and clinicals are completed.
Next expected Fellowship recruiting begins November 2023.
Important information for Fellowship candidates:
- Tuition, books and most fees are covered for selected participants in exchange for a one-year, full-time commitment of employment with the FHP Laboratory
- Ability to pass placement tests required by UAF CTC for enrollment
- Must be able to pass a background check compliant with the State of Alaska DHSS Barrier Crime Matrix
- Must be able to pass a drug test and meet the physical demands of full-time work as a Phlebotomist
