CMAs at FHP
Certified medical assistants (CMAs) work alongside physicians and are cross-trained to perform administrative duties such as updating patient electronic medical records (EMR), scheduling appointments, or coding and filing insurance forms, or clinical duties, like taking medical histories, preparing or assisting with exams, or removing sutures and changing dressings.
CMAs are some of the most versatile allied health professionals, with a wide range of job opportunities available at Tanana Valley Clinic, from pediatrics to OB/GYN to 1st Care.
